Friendly Fixers – Download TeamViewer

Step 1: Click the download button to the left to start the automatic download of TeamViewer.

Step 2: Locate the download.

• For Windows users: Check your Downloads folder for a file named “TeamViewer_Setup.exe.”

• For Mac users: Check your Downloads folder or the bar at the bottom of your screen.

Step 3: Open the file.

• Double-click the “TeamViewer_Setup.exe” file to unzip it.

• You’ll see a new file named “TeamViewer_Setup” (Windows) or “TeamViewer.pkg” (Mac).

Step 4: Install TeamViewer.

• Windows: Double-click the “TeamViewer_Setup” file. When prompted, click Run and follow the on-screen instructions.

• Mac: Double-click the “TeamViewer.pkg” file, then follow the steps to allow installation. (If asked, enter your Mac password.)

Step 5: Open TeamViewer.

Once installed, open TeamViewer, and keep it running during your Friendly Fixers session.

Please note you will see a screen when TeamViewer opens that has your ID and pin, please take a note of this as we will need it in order to connect to your laptop

Quick Troubleshooting Tips

• Can’t find the file? Check the Downloads folder or search your computer for “TeamViewer.”

• Installation issues? Try restarting your computer, then download and install again.
